Personal Reflection

My posting regarding Wholeheartedness and the Abilty to make connections has sparked a lot of personal reflection lately.  I received some life changing advice from an executive recently.  He said I should tell my story.  Let people know where I’m from, where I am in my life now and where I want to go.  This will help people get to know me, understand my motivations and thus connect with me on a more personal level.

I also recently read a book by Steve Pemberton titled “A Chance in the World” which tells the story of his childhood as an orphan who endured under horrible circumstances.  He also encourages each of us to reflect on our lives and open up to telling our stories.  This will help us to accept ourselves so that we may also accept others.

I will be posting some of my updates regarding my own personal work and what I find works for me.  Especially the feedback I received from the recruiting executive.

Have a great week.
