Life Lessons: Simplify

Never complicate what you can simplify

As Henry David Thoreau wrote, our life is frittered away by detail. Simplify, simplify.”  And “simplify the problem of life, distinguish the necessary and the real. Probe the earth to see where your main roots run”.  But my favorite quote on the art of simplicity is by Bruce Lee, ”It is not a daily increase, but a daily decrease. Hack away at the inessentials.”

Simplification is often recommended but rarely easily achieved. I’m working on it every day.
